His "Rainbow" and "Apollo" chairs, first produced by Artifort between 2000 and 2002 became instant classics and earned him worldwide recognition. Following in the path of designer Pierre Paulin, Norguet continues to combine mid-century interior design with evolving concepts and technologies. Norguet's carpet designs, which are each works of art unto themselves, truly embrace this convergence.
